Pool Safety & Compliance
Feature Fence panels are designed with reference to AS 1926.1 – Swimming Pool Safety – Safety Barriers for Swimming Pools, and are manufactured to suit a nominal 1200mm barrier height and compliant infill spacing when installed correctly.
Installation & Site Conditions
As with all pool barriers, final compliance depends on:
- Correct installation
- Site-specific conditions
- Gate configuration and hardware
- Applicable state and local regulations
While Feature Fence panels are designed in line with commonly applied Australian pool safety principles, it remains the responsibility of the homeowner or installer to ensure the completed barrier complies with all relevant regulations.
We recommend confirming requirements with your local council or licensed pool certifier prior to installation.
Gates & Hardware
Where gates are supplied, they must be installed in accordance with relevant pool safety requirements, including compliant self-closing and self-latching mechanisms where required.
Ongoing Compliance
Maintaining compliance is an ongoing responsibility. Regular inspection and maintenance of gates, latches, fixings, and surrounding ground levels is recommended to ensure continued performance.
