Terms and Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the Feature Fence website and the purchase of products from us. By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

 

1. General

Feature Fence supplies aluminium pool fencing panels and related products for residential use within Australia.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. The version published on our website at the time of purchase applies to that order.

 

2. Product Information

We take reasonable care to ensure product descriptions, specifications, and images are accurate. However:

  • Images are for illustrative purposes only.
  • Minor variations in colour, finish, or appearance may occur.
  • Final compliance depends on correct installation and site conditions.

Customers are responsible for confirming suitability prior to purchase.

 

 

3. Orders & Payment

Orders are confirmed upon receipt of full payment at checkout, including applicable freight charges.

Production commences in scheduled manufacturing runs following order confirmation.

Orders cannot be cancelled once production has commenced, except as required under Australian Consumer Law.

We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order, including where:

  • Stock is unavailable
  • Pricing errors occur
  • Fraud is suspected

In the event of cancellation prior to production commencing, a full refund will be provided.

 

4. Pricing

All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD).

Unless otherwise stated, prices do not include GST.

A flat rate freight fee applies to Queensland orders and is calculated at checkout.

 

5. Shipping & Delivery

Orders typically dispatch approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.

Delivery timeframes are estimates only. Delays caused by freight providers or external factors are outside our control.

Delivery is kerbside only. The customer is responsible for ensuring suitable access for delivery vehicles and for unloading the goods. Any additional freight costs arising from restricted access, failed delivery attempts, or re-delivery will be payable by the customer.

Risk in the goods passes to the customer upon delivery.

Customers must inspect goods upon receipt and report any visible damage within 48 hours.

 

6. Installation & Compliance

Feature Fence products are designed with reference to AS 1926.1 and relevant Australian pool safety principles.

Final compliance depends on:

  • Correct installation
  • Site-specific conditions
  • Applicable state and local regulations

It is the responsibility of the homeowner or installer to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Feature Fence does not provide certification of installed pool barriers.

 

7. Warranty

Products are supplied with:

  • 10-year structural warranty (as outlined in our Warranty section)
  • 2-year manufacturer’s warranty on powder coating

This warranty operates in addition to rights available under Australian Consumer Law.

 

8. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Feature Fence is not liable for:

  • Incorrect installation
  • Site-specific non-compliance
  • Indirect or consequential loss
  • Delays caused by third parties

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

 

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including designs, branding, images, and written material, is the property of Feature Fence and may not be reproduced without permission.

 

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of Australian courts.
